Dr. Aleksandra Guzek is an Ontario-based naturopathic doctor whose work focuses on metabolic health and sustainable body recomposition.
Her approach evolved from recognizing that health outcomes are rarely shaped by a single factor, yet treatment is often delivered in ways that overlook the broader context in which symptoms develop.
Because metabolic health and body composition do not exist independently of mental, emotional, behavioural, and physiological influences, her work begins by understanding how broader patterns emerge and identifying the priorities most relevant to the individual.
Drawing from naturopathic medicine, metabolic science, behavioural psychology, and experience in the mental health field, Dr. Guzek developed the Mind Your Body Method to help patients move forward with greater clarity and a more intentional approach to creating meaningful change.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Guzek worked at Toronto Metabolic Clinic, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team of physicians, dietitians, nutritionists, and naturopathic doctors focused on obesity, diabetes, insulin resistance, and metabolic disease. This experience further shaped her understanding of the physiological, behavioural, and environmental factors that influence long-term health outcomes.
